Kaavalan song review..!!

Here we go with the review...!!

Yaaradhu: Karthik, Suchitra

A peppy melody with Vidyasagar’s stamp all over. Karthik suits the flow of the song and the drums that come in between with Suchitra’s humming gives the song a good old 80′s-ish feel.

Pattamboochi: KK, Rita

After a long time one gets to hear KK’s voice. This is more dancey, though with a melodic base. Both the singers have done their part nicely. The shehnai portions remind of some of the latest Hindi hits.

Sada Sada: Karthik

A fast and racy rendition by Karthik. This song mixes the best of the 80s and the 2000′s, in classic Vidyasagar fashion. Will definitely stay in the charts for sometime.

Step Step: Benny Dayal, Megha

Salsa and Vijay. Need I say more??!! Lets wait for the video to come out. This song will stay on top of the songs for weeks surely.

Vinnai Kaapan: Tippu, Swetha

Finally a message song!! But a pretty racy one at that. And extensive usage of drums has enhanced the impact of the song. Once again the arrangement invokes VS’s older songs like En Ragasiya (Alai) andVennakkallil (Pattalom – Malayalam). There is a set of lines in between where Tippu seems to miss the beat. But way the singer carries it off subsequently proves that it is supposed to be sung that way. Kudos to Tippu!!

Once again Vidyasagar has proved that he is Mr. Dependable. After a completely subdued soundtrack forMandhira Punnagai,Orange(Telugu), he creates another out-and-out commercial score in Kaavalan. A sureshot musical hit for Vijay!!

VITians get record job offers

The vellore Institute of Techology(VIT) has created a new record in campus recruitement with IT and consulting major companies like CTS making job offers to 1643 students out of 2238 who had appeared for the selection process,stated by the chancellor.

He also said that "This is a milestone in the history of the university,since most of the students had been made job offers from a single campus and it is a proud moment for the university". VIT`s placement center had allowed other core companies like Google,Cisco,eBay,TVS and etc. And a research fellowship programme to be launched in 2011.

Story: Ram (Ram Charan Teja) stays with his sister (Manjula) and brother-in-law (Sanjay Swaroop) in Sydney. He thinks differently and lives in hiw own style. Ruba (Shazahn Padamsee) and Ram are in love. Like everybody she is too possessive about his love. She doesn’t like Ram smoking, roam around with his friends, even chitchatting with another girl friend. But to maintain good relationship, Ram lies around that he quit smoking, do not entertain any girl etc. At some point of time, it gives Ram a ill feeling an finally starts avoiding Ruba.

As a result, he comes to the conclusion that one should resort to lying and concealing facts often. When one wanted to be his real self, it is impossible to impress the other person in love with him/her. Ruba doesn’t like Ram smoking, roam around with his friends, even chitchatting with another girl friend who was away somewhere through SMSes, and other such issues. In order to please Ruba, he had to lie that he quit smoking, didn’t answer SMSes and off the friends. This gives an ill-feeling in Ram and he avoids Ruba to be his real self. He gives a serious thought that there is a proportionate inverse activity between longevity and love. As the time pass by, the intensity of love decreases. The love turns conditional and it makes both the lovers search for ‘reasons’ to separate.
