மக்கள் திலகம் எம்.ஜி.ஆர்., போல சிம்புவும் வருவார் என்று அவரது அப்பாவும், நடிகருமான டி.ராஜேந்தேர் கூறுகிறார். சமீபத்தில் ரிலீசான 

சிம்பு நடித்த வானம் படம்  ரிலீசாகி 75வது நாளை முன்னிட்டு சில தினங்களுக்கு முன்னர், தமிழகம் முழுவதும் விளம்பரம் ஒன்று ஒட்டப்பட்டு இருந்தது.

அந்த விளம்பர போஸ்டரில்,    ’’அன்று திரைவானத்தின் துருவ நட்சத்திரம் மக்கள் திலகம் எம்.ஜி.ஆர்., இன்றைய திரை வானத்தின் வளரும் நட்சத்திரம் யங் சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் எஸ்.டி.ஆர்.’’ என்று சிம்புவை, மக்கள் திலகம் எம்.ஜி.ஆர்., உடன் ஒப்பிட்டு இடம்பெற்று இருந்தது.

இந்த விளம்பரத்தை தயாரித்தது சிம்புவின் அப்பா டி.ராஜேந்தர் தான்.

இது குறித்து  டி.ராஜேந்தர்,   ‘’ சிம்புவின் வானம் படத்தை 75வது நாளை முன்னிட்டு அந்த விளம்பரத்தை ரெடி பண்ணியது நான் தான். இதில் ஒன்றும் தப்பு ஏதும் இல்லையே. 

சினிமா வாழ்க்கையில் சிம்புவும், எம்.ஜி.ஆர்., போன்ற நிலைமையை அடைய வேண்டும். அது தான் எனது கனவு, லட்சியம் எல்லாம். அதற்காக சிம்புவை நான் தயார் பண்ணி வருகிறேன். அவனும் தனது பயணத்தை தொடர்ந்து கொண்டு இருக்கிறான். 

மேலும் அந்த விளம்பரத்தில் அன்றைய கால கட்டத்தில் எம்.ஜி.ஆர்., எப்படி உயர்ந்து வந்தாரோ, அதுபோல தான் சிம்புவும் உயர்ந்து வருகிறான் என்று கூறியிருக்கேன். எம்.ஜி.ஆர்., மாதிரி ஆவதற்கு அவனிடம் எல்லாம் தகுதியும் இருக்கிறது. நிச்சயம் ஒரு நாள் அவரை போல, என் மகனும் உயர்வான்’’ என்று கூறியுள்ளார்.

Simbu is enjoying the shoot in Mysore

Simbu aka STR seems to juggling three projects at a time. 

The actor, who has just wrapped up the shoot for Poda Podi opposite Varalakshmi has already moved on to his next project, Vosthi, the Tamil remake of the Hindi superhit Dabangg. The actor is currently shooting in Mysore for the film and is enjoying every bit of it. "We came to Mysore to avoid the crowd. Had we been to Pollachi or Tirunelveli, we would have been swarmed by the crowds. Mysore is a peaceful city. But here too, people recognized me and welcomed me with open arms. Mysoreans are very warm and welcoming. And it's good to be among them," says Simbu. 

Meanwhile, the actor is also facing the arc lights for Vettai Mannan, in which he plays a gangster, along with Jai of Subramaniapuram fame. "We need three heroines for the film and the hunt is still on. It's a tale of gangsters and the film is going to be loaded with action scenes, "says the actor

Osthi song in "OSTHI" says Simbu

Silambarasan upcoming Flick Movie Osthi remake of Hindi Block buster Daabang will have a mass intro song for him. The actor says that He was very excited with the intro song which has been composed by Thaman s of Eeram fame.

He also added that the song will be in pakka Dharani style and defnitely it will be mass.He posted this in his in page."very excited with osthi intro song .... cant wait for the final version !!! im sure u guys gonna love it ... pakka dharani style mass num and catch phrase is osthi mamu".So Guys are you ready for hearing a osthi song in "OSTHI"?

How Simbu, Nic Arts got attracted by Nelson?

In kollywood We’ve been getting alot of new filmmakers, who didn’t work as assistant directors. Recently it was Kulandhai Vellappan, who made his directorial debut with the film ‘Aanmai Thavarel’.

Now it’s the turn of newcomer Nelson, who takes off with a big-budgeted action-thriller ‘Vettai Mannan’ starring silambarasan,jai etc that is produced by SS Chakravarthy of Nic Arts.


Nelson who is a close friend of Simbu, but that wasn’t the only reason why the actor accepted his offer. Director Nelson had an amazing script that allowed him to shoot a 4-minute teaser. Soon as producer SS Chakravarthy saw them, he said to him to continue the shooting.

It has well known that a huge set was erected at Binny Mills near the airport,where a vital scene was shot with STR, Jai and 200 junior artists and the sources says that it was a scene were powerful mafia Kingpins and gangsters gathering for a auction,at which they will hire the smartest and most brilliant assasins for their gangs

Simbu in Chennai and Brazil

Simbu’s Vettai Mannan will be shot in Chennai and Brazil. According to sources, the film is set in Chennai and the first half will be shot here. Later, the team will move over to Brazil where the second half takes place. Vettai Mannan’s storyline is interesting and they intend to shoot in some exotic locations in Brazil.

Simbu has a long projects on hands and is aiming to treat his fans with one after the other. His upcoming flicks are Poda Podi,osthi and Vettai Mannan. His recent release Vaanam has been declared a hit and it has maked a diffrent Image over Simbu.

Vtv to be dubbed in Russian language.

Silambarasan`s unforgattable romantic flick vinnaithandi varauvaya to be dubbed in Russian language for Filming the movie in the Russain film festival.

It is well known that vtv is the one of the most successful film released in the year 2011.It has been directed by Gautham vasudev menon starring simbu,trisha and music by Oscar winner A R Rahman.

The movie will be screening along with Some other movies from August 15 for three days at the Russian fil festival.

Silambarasan to Give prizes for Rank holders

Recent buzz about actor Silambarasan a well known actor,Director of Tamil cinema is Going to to encourage young students to reach greater heights and helping them to pursue higher studies, T. Ramesh of Balaji Real Media Pvt Ltd, Chennai, who is producing Osthi with Silambarasan and Richa in the lead roles, has decided to give cash prizes to the toppers in the state 10th and 12th exams.It is well known he recently helped the SlumDog millionaire star too.

Rekha Malarvizhi of Hosur District will be awarded with Rs. 1 lakh cash prize for emerging the topper in the 12th exams this year. Likewise, five students from 10th std toppers Nithya from Srivelliputhur, Ramya from Gopichetipalayam, Sangeetha from Salem, Minnaladevi from Cheyyar and Harini from Ponneri will be awarded Rs 20,000 cash prize each.

A function will be organized within next week in which Silambarasan will handover the cash prizes to the students.

STR’s partying style

It is well known that Simbu always enjoys his life to the fullest. He is one actor who always freak out in the town most days of the week along with his close friends.

Many top heroes of Kollywood prefer to stay away from the clubs and lounge bars to maintain high-pitched clean image but STR is very open about his personal partying ways. He along with his close friend producer Ganesh are frequently spotted at 10D, Dublin at Sheraton Park and at Paasha at The Park.
