Vaanam ( வானம்) :is an Indian Tamil drama film written and directed by Krish. A remake of his 2010 Telugu filmVedam, the film features an ensemble cast of Silambarasan, Bharath, Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj and Saranya. The score and soundtrack were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while cinematography and editing were handled by Nirav Shah and Anthony Gonsalves, respectively.

Vaanam is an anthology film; the story revolves around five individuals from different walks of life, representing the five natural elements—sky, air, water, fire and earth —and illustrates how their fates intertwine on New Year's Eve at a hospital in Chennai. The film, jointly produced by Ganesh Janardhanan and R. Ganesh and distributed by Dayanidhi Azhagiri's Cloud Nine Movies, was released on April 29, 2011,and received critical acclaim.

Yuvan shankar Raja Hits..!!

Yuvan Shankar Raja is an Indian Tamil film score and soundtrack composer, singer. He has done the music for Tamil as well as several Telugu films. His musical career began in 1996, at age 16, as he composed the film score for" Aravindhan". After initial struggle, he made his big break with the Thulluvadho Ilamai soundtrack (2001).Within a span of 14 years, Yuvan Shankar Raja worked on over 85 films. Being immensely popular among the younger generation.He is frequently referred to as the "Rockstar"and the "Youth Icon" of Tamil Film Music.
Yuvan has won two Filmfare awards the Best Music Director Award in 2004 for his score in the drama 7G Rainbow Colony at age 25, remaining the youngest winner of the award, and the Special Jury Award in 2009 for his Telugu musical  Besides, he received two nominations for Filmfare Awards, one Tamil Nadu State Film Award in 2006 and the Cyprus International Film Festival Award in 2006 for "Raam", becoming the first and only Indian composer to win it.CLick on the link below to download  the songs..!!

Yuvan croons for 'Rajapattai'

This is the first time Yuvan is composing for a Vikram starrer and he expressed his enthusiasm about it to the media.

And now, the Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that, the young talent is also lending his voice for a track in this film. He tweeted saying, "Just now sang a song for suseendran's next movie! I'm in love with this song lyrics by yuga bharathi!!!"

The playback singer in Yuvan is as successful as the music composer in him is, he usually lends his voice for his own compositions or his father's or brother's. He had also sung a track for Dharan's 'Siddu +2' last year.

His "Iragai Pole..." in 'Naan Mahaan Alla' fetched much acclaim from fans for his voice and the tune; we hope this song
from 'Rajapattai' creates similar magic as well.

yuvan to close his twitter account??

yuvan shankar raja son of Musical maestro has tweeted that "I'm thinking to close my twitter account. Think it's a diversion for all creators". But after getting request from his fans not to close his account he tweeted ad "Okok I said I was just thinking guys...guess I'll try to tweet once a week or something,Only for u ppl love you all.."

And he also added that am here for you to help you people "But at the same time I think its nice to help ppl thru twitter". Finaly he tweeted that he is back to work

His recent flick "Aaranya kandam" had been released today and Music has been received well by his audience.Reports says that yuvan`s BGM for the film was one of the highlits.
