Nokia W7

The Nokia W7 is Nokia’s the first actual attempt to put out a Windows Phone. The handset is set to be released very shortly.

This exact handset features a smart platform complete with a powerful processor of WVGA display. It also houses the Qualcomm QSD8250 chipset; both these forms of software will together make a great combination.

Rumours that have been circulating around mobile phone land have hinted that the Nokia W7 is to come complete with an 8-mega-pixel camera. This is pretty impressive for a mobile handset, especially when the camera is also rumoured to be able to click high-resolution images very smoothly.

Other high tech features like the impressive and very fast smart web browser make this phone both great for business and play. The multimedia players and many other similar apps are just a few of the things that will attract this phone to both businessmen and women and also those that are very into high-end technology.

With the Nokia N7 platform, internet accessibility is extremely quick and browsing the web is a very fast process with such a high tech version of the platform.

The Nokia W7 deals will soon be available to users just after the initial launch of the much-anticipated handset.

Mobile phone providers such as Vodafone, O2, Orange, Three and T-Mobile are just a few of the big name providers that are said to feature this particular handset.

Expect a few waiting lists for this handset on the initial launch to the mobile phone market of UK.

The handset itself offers quite a quirky design as all four corners appear to invert in slightly, the screen is however the main selling point as it is takes up the whole front face of the phone, making viewing content both an attractive and easy process.

Apple to introduce iCloud

Apple described the previously unknown iCloud as its "upcoming cloud services offering" but provided no further details of what awaits at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference.
"iCloud was almost a throwaway line in the press release," said Michael Gartenberg, an analyst for technology research company Gartner. "But that's getting the most scrutiny because we don't know anything about it."
According to multiple reports, iCloud would allow for streaming of music hosted on Apple servers in the Internet "cloud" to various devices -- from computers to smartphones to touchscreen tablets.
The New York Times reported on Friday that Apple has nearly completed talks with the major music publishers over the new cloud music service after sealing deals with the four major record labels.
The Los Angeles Times said iCloud will initially be offered for free to iTunes users, allowing them to listen to music hosted on Apple servers on a Web browser or an Internet-connected Apple device.
Apple will eventually charge a subscription fee of around $25 a year for the service, the newspaper said.
A Web-hosted music service from Apple would come just weeks after online retail giant Amazon and Internet search titan Google unveiled their own cloud music offerings.
Amazon launched a Cloud Drive and Cloud Player music service in late March that allows subscribers to upload digital music to Amazon servers and play it on a computer or an Android device.
Google's music service introduced in May lets people store their music collections in online libraries for streaming to computers, smartphones and tablets.
Google Music does not sell songs, however, and Amazon's cloud service requires time-consuming uploading of each song to Amazon servers before a user can listen to it.
Gartenberg said he expects an Apple service would "provide consumer value, differentiation from what's come before and a way of taking the market forward."
"What is going to be that extra Apple bit of magic that's going to be infused that will drive consumers to use this?" he asked.
"Apple was not the first company to offer downloads of music," he said. "But they did it the best and therefore conquered the market. They weren't first with MP3 players or smartphones."
Gartenberg also said iCloud may not be restricted to music.
"It could be synchronization for all my files -- it could involve video, my office files," he said. "I think what we're going to see is something more than just another digital locker, another online storage place.
"It will be interesting to see if new business models are introduced," he added. "If we're talking about new ways to purchase, rent, listen to music, and share."
An Apple cloud service could potentially benefit from the huge existing base of iTunes accounts.
"Anything they do that would be commerce-related is going to be fairly low friction if you're already part of the iTunes ecosystem," Gartenberg said.
Gartenberg said it was unlikely that Apple planned to unveil a new iPhone although Jobs, a cancer survivor who went on medical leave in January for an undisclosed illness, is known to love surprises.
"The fact that Apple telegraphed that this is going to about Lion, iOS 5, iCloud seems to me to downplay any expectation of new hardware," Gartenberg said. "This is going to be very software-centric."

Microsoft to launch Office 365 Soon

Microsoft is launching its cloud offering Office 365 later this month with a splashy
event in NYC.
Office 365 will be a subscription service that combines online versions of Word, Excel
and PowerPoint. And Office 365 will allow users to get to their mail, calendar, and
contacts from virtually anywhere on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Microsoft plans a rollout event June 28 in a swanky Soho gallery space used for
corporate events, according to an invitation sent out to the media.
There, CEO Steve Ballmer will talk about the Office 365, what Microsoft calls
its next generation cloud productivity service which brings collaboration to
everyone.
While Skylight Soho might not be the venue of choice for a lot of small companies
that are watching every dollar, Microsoft sees great potential in landing
cost-conscious customers who run their own businesses.
Microsoft is offering Office 365 subscriptions for as low as $6 a month, aimed
at small businesses that don’t want to manage their own servers.
Tom Rizzo, senior director of Microsoft Online Services, told me recently that
the new Office 365 offering was in beta with 100,000 organizations and 2.5 million seats.
Rizzo said that there is a lot of interest in cloud services. But he was candid.
He said he expects small and mid-size businesses to be the first to adopt because
they have less to move to the cloud. What he called the “pro-sumer,” an interior
-designer or other one-person operation will be quick to move over, said Rizzo, said
about 70 percent of those who signed up for the Beta were small businesses.
At the same time, he said large enterprises will probably move to the cloud more
cautiously and maybe incrementally. Maybe moving mobile workers to the cloud
first, for example. He said he expects many larger businesses to be hybrids,
wanting a mix of cloud storage options to go along with keeping some storage

in house.
