The vellore Institute of Techology(VIT) has created a new record in campus recruitement with IT and consulting major companies like CTS making job offers to 1643 students out of 2238 who had appeared for the selection process,stated by the chancellor.
He also said that "This is a milestone in the history of the university,since most of the students had been made job offers from a single campus and it is a proud moment for the university". VIT`s placement center had allowed other core companies like Google,Cisco,eBay,TVS and etc. And a research fellowship programme to be launched in 2011.
